Dear Patient
Understanding pre-anaesthetic consent is a crucial step in ensuring a smooth and successful recovery process for patients undergoing surgical and diagnostic procedures.
Here we outline important information about the upcoming anaesthesia. By carefully reading and understanding the pre-anaesthetic consent, you equip yourself with the knowledge required to make informed decisions, adhere to necessary guidelines, and ultimately contribute to your own well-being.
Prior to your consultation with the anaesthetist, it is important to complete the following steps. This preparation is key to maximizing the effectiveness of the consultation, enabling you to make well-informed decisions regarding the anaesthesia and pain management plan for your upcoming surgery.
- Complete the pre-anaesthetic questionnaire.
- Review the relevant anaesthesia information document.
